Kendall introduces it enhanced Euro line with GT-1 Euro and GT-1 Euro+ -- two new, premium-quality, full synthetic passenger car motor oils designed to enhance the performance of European vehicles. The new motor oils are for gasoline-fueled and diesel-fueled vehicles, and exceed the specifications of major European vehicle manufacturers, including BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Volkswager, and Porsche.

 "European engines require different oil formulations than U.S. and orther foreign vehicles," said Make Krampf, Phillips 66 Manager, Finished Lubricants. "European auto manufacturers' oil specifications are evolving to help provide compliance with tightening limits for CO₂ emissions and instituting more strict fuel economy limits. Phillips 66 is proud to expand our GT-1 Euro products and introduce oils that meed the demands of today's European vehicles."

These new full synthetic formulations offer maximum protection and provide enhanced performance benefits compared with conventional engine oils. Benefits include better oxidation resistance and thermal stability at high temperatures for improved protection against viscosisty breakdown and deposit formation, lower volatility for reduced oil consumption, and better low-temperature pumpability for easier starting and faster oil circulation at low temperatures.
